Reopening 10th July

Welcome Back

We have been busy planning for welcoming you back and are so pleased to announce that we are re-opening from Friday 10th July at 12 pm.
We will have a gradual and steady approach to re-opening and will be working hard to make this process as smooth and safe as possible for both our customers and staff. This current situation is new to us all and we are grateful for your support and patience.

Our new opening times at present are as follows:

Monday and Tuesday: Closed

Wednesday - Thursday 12pm - 9pm

Friday - Saturday 12pm - 10pm

Sunday: 12pm - 6pm

Wednesday - Saturday: 12pm - 2.15pm and 6pm - 8.45pm

Sunday: 12pm - 4pm

As we are sure you will appreciate, we have had to fully evaluate our business model and due to social distancing requirements, our booking availability is at present restricted.  We therefore strongly recommend that all bookings are made in advance to avoid any disappointment on the day should we not have a table available.

At present our table availability is set from 2 to a maximum of 6 guests from two households. Each table is booked for an allocated time slot which is advised upon booking.  Please be on time for your booking.  We respectfully advise that we are unable to accommodate any more than 6 guests (where booked) due to all tables being set to accommodate social distancing measures.  Please do not move tables or chairs from where they are allocated as these have been placed in line with current requirements. We also ask that all children, babies, and toddlers are included within the guest count. Please note - All children are to remain seated throughout your stay and must always be supervised by an adult inside or outside.

All menus that are provided to your table will remain with you for the duration of your stay and will be discarded of afterwards.  No menus are re-used, and fresh cutlery will be allocated to your table upon ordering.

In line with government guidelines, we will require contact details of all guests attending within each party.  These will be retained on file for 21 days.  This information will not be used for marketing or any other purpose and will solely be made available should it be requested in line with Track and Trace within the 21-day period.

The main entrance to the pub is both an entrance and exit so we kindly ask that this area always remains clear. We will have a designated waiting area clearly situated at the front of the building where our Host will meet you at the door. Hand sanitising stations are situated throughout the building and all guests are encouraged to use these immediately upon entering the building.  Social distancing measures have been implemented throughout the building and for your comfort, all customers will be taken straight through to their table upon arrival.

At present, sitting and standing at the Bar is sadly not allowed.  All drinks orders will be taken at the table.

We’ve plenty of seating available outdoors for drinks and food is also served on our Patio (Subject to availability) Maximum 6 people per table.

We will be offering the option of using our drinks app to assist you with ordering drinks outside.  More information is available throughout the building.  Please be aware ID may be requested when required.

Our toilets have had locks fitted on the main access doors to ensure they are accessible to only one guest at any one time.  Waiting points are also noted for all other guests awaiting the availability of the toilets.

All our staff will undergo strict daily wellness checks upon their arrival to work and will be adhering to the working guidelines implemented in our risk assessment.

Any customers who are feeling unwell and have any symptoms of Covid-19 are asked not to come to the pub. Please advise as soon as possible if you have made a booking.

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your support and we are looking forward to welcoming you back very soon!

Thank you

The Blue Bell Glinton Team
